Google Ads launch five new video ad templates to make seasonal festivals and moments more productive for marketers

Google is all set to add five new themed video templates to Google Ads to help marketers gain maximum out of their marketing efforts during seasonal festivities. The features will allow businesses to increase sales and brand awareness during national holidays across various geographic regions. The new addition to the Google Ads repertoire, seasonally-themed video ad templates will have stunning visuals and audio designed for major holidays and moments such as Diwali, Christmas, Hanukkah, and Blck Friday ( vertical and horizontal templates). Advertisers will be able to edit these templates by adding logos, images, texts, and brand colours. Amongst the included templates all except the Black Friday template let users include only a maximum of two images, six text areas, and one logo. Both horizontal and vertical versions of the Black Friday template allow advertisers to incorporate up to six text areas, one logo, and a maximum of five images. All you need to do is provide Google with your creatives so that it produces a video output with the creatives in it. The videos you create with Google Ads templates are usable in all your campaigns- it goes with videos like video action campaigns, Performance Max campaigns, and app campaigns. This is how each of the new templates works: 

Hanukkah Video Ad Template

This ad template replicates the sequences of wrapping paper unfolding before the users, along with Hanukkah-themed visuals and audio. 

Diwali Video Ad Template

Similar to Hanukkah, this video ad template also starts with a wrapping paper opening while running the Diwali-themed visuals and audio. 

Christmas Video Ad Template

This video template features gift unravelling alongside Christmas-themed visuals and audio.  

Black Friday Video Ad Templates (Vertical+ Horizontal)

This template stands out from the rest as it is more generic when compared to all the other seasonal templates. The template’s theme focuses entirely on buying products and not on giving. Because of that, the ads for Black Friday will have additional areas for images. 

Availability

The new seasonal video ad template upgrade is currently available to all advertisers using Google Ads for their marketing campaigns. Other than the above inclusions, Google is also planning to become more inclusive and break the barriers of celebrations.
